Description
Pepe the Prawn gets a special textured treatment in The Muppets Pepe the Prawn Flocked Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure #1678 - Specialty. The outspoken crustacean features his recognizable orange-pink coloring, elongated head, prominent eyes and expressive mouth. A soft flocked finish adds a velvety texture to the sculpt, distinguishing this Specialty Series edition from traditional smooth-vinyl Muppets figures.
Originally introduced on Muppets Tonight in 1996, Pepe quickly became one of the franchise's most outspoken personalities. Performed by Bill Barretta, the self-proclaimed king prawn is known for his flirtatious confidence, questionable business schemes and habit of punctuating conversations with "okay?" Unlike many of Jim Henson's original Muppets, Pepe emerged during the franchise's later television era and went on to become a prominent member of the ensemble, including appearances in The Muppets (2011) and Muppets Most Wanted (2014).
