X-Men '97 Archangel (Wave 4) Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure #1610

Archangel spreads his imposing metallic wings in the X-Men '97 Archangel (Wave 4) Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure #1610. Inspired by Marvel Animation's X-Men '97, this collectible features Warren Worthington III in his blue-and-purple armored costume, complete with large silver mechanical wings extending from his back. His purple-accented headpiece, clenched fists, and raised-knee fighting pose emphasize the formidable appearance of Apocalypse's former Horseman of Death. Standing approximately 4.5 inches tall, this Wave 4 release showcases the dramatic transformation that distinguishes Archangel from his earlier feather-winged identity as Angel.

Warren Worthington III made his debut as Angel in X-Men #1 (1963), created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Born with feathered wings that granted him the ability to fly, Warren became one of Professor Charles Xavier's original five X-Men. His life changed dramatically when Apocalypse transformed him into Archangel, replacing his natural wings with razor-sharp metallic ones and recruiting him as Death, one of the Four Horsemen. Although Warren eventually broke free from Apocalypse's control, the physical and psychological consequences of his transformation remained central to his character. His struggle to reclaim his humanity while wielding extraordinary destructive power makes Archangel one of the X-Men's most compelling heroes.
