Description
Green Lantern draws upon the power of will in the DC Comics New Classics Green Lantern Funko Pop! #601. This version of Hal Jordan features his familiar green-and-black superhero uniform, a white-and-green chest emblem, and the power ring that identifies him as a member of the Green Lantern Corps. The New Classics design emphasizes the recognizable costume and cosmic superhero identity that have defined Jordan across decades of DC Comics adventures.
First introduced in Showcase #22 in 1959, test pilot Hal Jordan became Green Lantern after receiving a power ring from the dying alien Abin Sur. As a member of the intergalactic Green Lantern Corps, Jordan uses his ring to create energy constructs limited by his imagination and strength of will. His adventures connect Earth's superheroes to the wider DC cosmos, including the Guardians of the Universe, the planet Oa, and his longtime adversary Sinestro. The DC New Classics collection revisits this foundational superhero identity for a new generation of DC collectors.
