Description
The Doctor takes his place among the crew of the USS Voyager in the Star Trek Voyager The Doctor Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure #1928. The ship's Emergency Medical Hologram features his recognizable bald head, expressive eyebrows and black-and-gray Starfleet uniform with blue-gray medical division detailing. His Starfleet communicator badge completes the appearance of Voyager's unconventional chief medical officer.
Portrayed by Robert Picardo in Star Trek: Voyager, The Doctor begins as an Emergency Medical Hologram designed for temporary use but becomes the ship's permanent physician after Voyager is stranded in the Delta Quadrant. Over seven seasons, he develops a distinct personality, explores music and artistic expression, and challenges assumptions about whether a hologram can possess individuality and rights. His evolution from medical software into a valued member of Captain Janeway's crew is one of the series' defining stories.
