Description
Pluto takes a cheerful ride through Tomorrowland in the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Pluto Peoplemover with Balloon Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure #1164, a nostalgic Disney collectible celebrating five decades of Walt Disney World magic. Mickey Mouse's lovable canine companion sits inside a colorful PeopleMover ride vehicle, with his golden-yellow coloring, long black ears, and familiar playful expression capturing the charm of Disney's classic animated characters. The attraction-inspired vehicle features the streamlined styling associated with Tomorrowland's elevated transportation system, creating a miniature theme park scene rather than a traditional standing character figure. Released as part of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration, Pluto brings the excitement of a beloved Magic Kingdom attraction into a collectible display.
Pluto has delighted Disney audiences since his early animated appearances in 1930, becoming Mickey Mouse's loyal companion and one of the studio's most expressive characters. Unlike Disney's talking animal personalities, Pluto communicates through energetic movements, facial expressions, and unmistakable canine behavior. His PeopleMover adventure celebrates the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, a leisurely elevated attraction that carries guests through the futuristic landscapes of Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland. Originally opening in 1975 as the WEDway PeopleMover, the attraction became a treasured part of the park's identity, offering memorable views of Tomorrowland and glimpses inside neighboring attractions. Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary, commemorating the resort's October 1, 1971 opening, brought renewed attention to the rides, characters, and traditions that generations of guests associate with their Disney vacations. This commemorative collectible connects Pluto's timeless appeal with the enduring nostalgia of one of Magic Kingdom's most recognizable experiences.
