X-Men '97 (W4) Death Gambit Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure #1614

Death Gambit emerges from the shadows in the X-Men '97 (W4) Death Gambit Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure #1614. Inspired by Marvel Animation's X-Men '97, this Wave 4 collectible captures Remy LeBeau in his sinister Horseman of Death incarnation. His swept-back white hair, darkened complexion, and piercing red eyes create a dramatic departure from Gambit's familiar appearance. Dressed in a long black coat with layered straps, dark gloves, and heavy boots, Death Gambit strikes a forward-moving pose while holding a playing card in one raised hand. The card preserves his signature weapon even as his transformed appearance reflects the influence of Apocalypse. Standing approximately 4.9 inches tall, this release brings a haunting interpretation of the beloved Cajun mutant into Funko's Marvel collection.

Remy LeBeau, better known as Gambit, first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #266 (1990), created by Chris Claremont and Jim Lee. Raised among the Thieves Guild of New Orleans, Gambit developed the mutant ability to charge objects with kinetic energy, transforming ordinary playing cards into explosive weapons. His roguish personality, mysterious past, and enduring romance with Rogue made him a defining member of the X-Men. In Marvel Animation's X-Men '97, Gambit's heroic sacrifice during the devastating attack on Genosha becomes one of the series' most consequential moments. His subsequent transformation into Death, one of Apocalypse's Four Horsemen, introduces a tragic new chapter for a hero whose loyalty to his teammates ultimately cost him his life. Death Gambit represents the collision of Remy's heroic legacy with the terrifying influence of Apocalypse, bringing one of the animated series' most dramatic transformations into the Marvel collectible universe.
